Maintain the perfect pH balance in your hot tub or pool with pH PLUS™ by Beachcomber. This high-quality sodium carbonate granule formula quickly stabilizes Total Alkalinity (TA) and regulates pH levels, ensuring your water remains safe and comfortable for use without leaving any residue.

pH PLUS™ is specifically designed to address minor pH imbalances in your swimming pool, hot tub, or spa. Composed of effective and fast-dissolving sodium carbonate, pH Plus not only quickly adjusts the pH upwards but also helps maintain stable Total Alkalinity (TA), which is crucial for water quality. By using pH Plus, you prevent common problems associated with low pH such as corrosion of pool equipment and discomfort such as eye and skin irritation. This makes it an essential component of your water care routine, ensuring that the water environment remains conducive to relaxation and enjoyment.

The fast acting pH adjuster not only instantly addresses pH imbalances in your hot tub water, but it also protects equipment from corrosion.

Application:

  • To increase pH level by 0.2 pour 4g of pH Plus into 1000L of hot tub water.
  • Test Water First: Before adjusting the pH, ensure that Total Alkalinity is balanced. Using Aquacheck 6-in-1 Water Test Strips, measure the total alkalinity first to ensure it is between 100-120 ppm then measure the pH.
  • Adjust pH: If the pH level is below 7.2, add pH Plus to increase it. For the best results, follow the label instructions for the correct dosage amount.
  • Distribute Evenly: Sprinkle pH Plus directly into the water while the pump is running to ensure even distribution throughout the pool or spa.
  • Monitor and Maintain: Regularly check the pH level after adjustment to ensure it remains within the ideal range of 7.2 – 7.8. Re-adjust as necessary, especially after eventsthat can alter pH levels such as heavy bather load, rainfall, or addition of fresh water.

Factors such as frequency of usage, chemicals, dust, algae, evaporation, and residues from body lotions, soaps, and oils can affect water pH for spas and hot tubs. Regular water care and hot tub maintenance are key to keeping the water quality healthy and stable.
